Salt River Al-Anon Information Service (SRVAIS) is a nonprofit organization that provides information about the
Al-Anon/Alateen Program in and around the Phoenix, Arizona *area. SRVAIS is a service arm of the Al-Anon fellowship and works in conjunction with Al-Anon's World Service Organization and the Arizona Al-Anon Assembly.
We have but one purpose: to help families and friends of alcoholics.
If you have questions you can call or visit us. You can purchase Al-Anon and Alateen literature during office hours or you can obtain it at most of the local Al-Anon or Alateen meetings.
Al-Anon Service Quote of the Moment..."By never saying 'No' to Al-Anon, I've actually learned how to use my mistakes..." Hope for Today pg.195
Welcome to our new Board!
For the first time in quite some time, our AIS has a FULL Board of 7 members! Elections went very well and the new positions are as follows: Dufy L. - Chair; Joe F. - Vice Chair; John N. - Treasurer; Betty R. - Vice Treasurer; Debbie Y. - Secretary and our new Members-at-large are Tom N. and John C.
The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.
Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions.
Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.
